Work Fairly Program

A program designed to help self-identifying women without technical backgrounds get training and start their careers in remote or hybrid Tech Sales. Employment and Career Support For Women

Are you looking to enter the workforce or establish yourself in professions you have been educated and trained in? Assistance is provided to women to determine their career and employment needs and goals. This includes support with resume building, job search and job interview preparation, access to job fairs, and literacy and numeracy skills building. Her Startup

Are you a refugee woman looking to start your own business in Ontario? HER Startup is a joint venture between the Syrian Canadian Foundation and Jumpstart Refugee Talent. This program aims to empower refugee women with opportunities to own and operate their business ventures. Participants are provided with training, access to mentors and business consultants, funding, and a transitional period to help sustain their start-ups. Visit their site to learn more.

Horticulture Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program

Are you looking to get job-ready and thinking about working within the landscape sector? The Horticulture Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program for Women is a 35-week program that prepares women interested in working in the skilled trades industry. CCS Women Resources

Access our resources to help you navigate the community and address your questions.

The resources are predominantly based within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), specifically the Peel Region. Site users are encouraged to practice due diligence regarding services and content and be especially mindful of the eligibility criteria should they choose to access any of the resources.
