CCS Job Connect

A completely free portal to access. Your applications won’t be screened by computers/ robotic systems. It aims to give you a chance to be seen by employers and get the right connection. Employers from different sectors on the portal will be looking at your profiles and contacting you directly.

Language Training for Newcomers

Are you interested in working within the Childminding and Food Handling sector? This program, delivered in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough, will support you with language instruction, skills development, and work experience placements to help you become employment-ready in the Food Handling or Childminding sector.

Enhanced Language Training (ELT)

Are you trained within the healthcare sector? The ELT supports eligible newcomers with sector-specific language training and volunteer work placements to support your transition into the workplace.

Connecting Newcomers with Jobs in Ontario’s Supply Chain Workforce

Are you interested in working within the Supply Chain Sector? This online program supports unemployed and under-employed newcomers with skills development training courses and job search support to meet demands for targeted occupations in the Supply Chain sector. The program is delivered in partnership with ABMP at York University.

Always Protect your SIN

Your SIN number is unique to you and should be kept confidential. Learn about steps to protect your SIN, when to share it and when NOT to.

Access support services

Find out and visit settlement agencies or community social groups within your local area to learn about their services that may help you with your job search

What if someone is using your SIN?

It is illegal for anyone to use your SIN number if you think someone else is using your SIN. Report it right away. Access this link to learn about the steps you need to take.

Employment Ontario focuses on work, jobs, and skills training. You can visit their website to search for jobs and learn about the programs available.

Your local newspaper may have job postings. You can access or find local newspapers here.

Access our resources to help you navigate the community and address your questions.

The resources are predominantly based within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), specifically the Peel Region. Site users are encouraged to practice due diligence regarding services and content and be especially mindful of the eligibility criteria should they choose to access any of the resources.
